"We've Come This Far by Faith" is a collection of articles, photos, and African American church histories from The Quad City and surrounding area churches (The Quad Cities is located in the Midwest and is comprised of Illinois and Iowa Cities). Some of the churches in this book were organized in the 1800s by former slaves. This book is the first book of a series dedicated to highlighting these churches, by whom, and how they were organized.
